American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her acting career as a supporting actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the character of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also had the role of a supporting character on the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira on the very first season of FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices a number of characters in the animated comedy show Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and she relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a while before setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began to take an interest in photography, acting and singing. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
