Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as Detective Diane Russell. In addition, she was a part of dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. While she was a small girl, she wanted to work as a reporter in the courtroom. However, in high school the time came when she began modeling for commercials, and later after moving to New York. In 1981, she appeared as an innocent teen in the film All My Children. Delaney is an acclaimed actress who has been in many films, television shows, and dramas. While she has a successful professional life, Delaney's private life isn't as successful and happy. The talented actress was afflicted with addiction issues in the past and had two marriages that failed. She lost custody of her son in 2005.
