Amanda Elizabeth Righetti was born in America. She's an actor, producer and writer. She is best known for the role of CBS show The Mentalist's special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti, a Utah resident, had always dreamed of becoming a performer. At the age of four, young, she began to dance. Her debut was on the big screen in 1995, with Love and Happiness. In her first appearance on television, she was a character on CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Righetti began her modeling career at the age of fourteen years old. Righetti started her modeling career at the age of 14. She moved from New York to Los Angeles four years later and played small, but important parts. Righetti was also cast in several other films including the horror movie Friday 13th, which premiered in 2009. The movie about the superhero Captain America : The First Avenger Fox's soap-opera North Shore as well as in Reunion. The actress performed the role of Grace Van Pelt from 2008 to 2015 in The Mentalist, earning praise for her performance.
