Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. Her next two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her comeback against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa in a unanimously-decided match after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her fighting techniques in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch via knees to the body. Antonina Shevchenko received the UFC contract after the victory.
